Too expensive for food they serve.

We asked for a table of Italian that was really great. It was large, with bread , ham, cheese etc. It is not best Italian restaurant for sure

I came here with my parents and my sister while we were out around Playa del Carmen checking out the local shops for some souvenirs to bring back. We decided to get something to eat before heading back to the hotel and settled for this place. The place itself is a bit small on the inside but they do have extra tables outside.

They sat us down inside the restaurant and apologized that they don't currently have an AC working but they did have fans out which made it somewhat better. I wasn't hungry but my dad ordered a calzone and my mom and sister ordered pizza. They gave us some bottled water to drink (to which they do charge for it at 40 pesos) and we waited for our food.

When the food arrived, my mom and my sister were a bit surprised of the size because they did asked earlier if the pizza was for individuals and the server said yes. They could've just have one and be fine with just that. The calzone that my dad had was pretty good and the pizza was good as well. the added basil to the cheese definitely added the flavor to it.

Overall, I thought it was okay. The place is a little overpriced but that kind of expected since we were in a tourist area and these restaurants will try to to advantage of the location. Servers were not as attentive as I would think they would be and some don't even smile. A smile definitely goes well on the long run. If I'm ever back in Mexico, I wouldn't say that I wouldn't come back to eat here but I would definitely try other places first before going back here.

Pizza was good ! That's all we ate there. Overpriced but I think all restaurants on fifth avenue are mediocre and overpriced .

The waiter liee to my face. I saw "prop" shown on the check and ask him if thatb is tip. He said "it's tax", turned of prop was a short word for " tip" in Spanish.
    So, yeah I double-tipped.
So 4 stars for the tuna appertizer, and 0 star for server = 2 stars overall.
